The most exciting thing about being an LSU fan in the last few years...

Has been the success of FORMER LSU players in the pros.
That's pretty damn sad

quit being a little titty baby. Florida, USC, and Texas are just a few schools that have been in cyclical slumps, and our slump isn't remotely as pathetic as theirs
baseball and football have loaded rosters
basketball: Jones should give up his paycheck to keep mickey and martin around, because those two with Simmons and Blakeney is a top 10 team
we're strangely doing really well in mid-major sports
so yeah, quick sulking. LSU's best athletic days in quite a few sports are nearing

My whole life is based on the success and failures of teenagers I have never met.
Pathetic.

Okay? well Florida has been wallowing in its own shite in football for a few years now. Their baseball program has also been very inconsistent. You could make a good case LSU's "big 3" has experienced much more success, and that's with UF being led by the great jeremy foley and a state loaded with talent.
The same goes for Texas, and Rick Barnes has been underachieving big time since John Brady somehow took him to school in 2006. He struck gold landing Kevin Durant, but he didn't accomplish anything of note with him.
LSU football was a bullshite rematch in 2011 from quite possibly leading to a dynasty. Baseball made a fatal mistake last year pulling Bouman in the 8th, but the program has an incredibly bright future with Dunn and his staff.
I'm going to remain reserved for basketball, because while we have underachieved this season, the program has improved every season from the clusterfrick Trent Johnson left the program in. LSU still needs to make the tournament this season if it wants to maintain recruiting momentum
We're national title contenders in men's golf, gymnastics, and softball for mid-majors. track is young and will be top-5 next season.
I want championships as much as you do, but it's okay to look at the big picture and see LSU has some great days ahead of it.

I truly feel sorry for those people who call themselves fans, but just don't enjoy LSU sports. You can have love for a school and not be a fan of their teams. If their sports do not excite you, if you do not enjoy the games and the environment that brings, just sotp calling yourself a fan and go find something else you enjoy.
I promise, nobody will miss the constant complainers at the tailgates, parties or games. Go fish, hunt, woodwork, basket-weave...something, ANYTHING you truly enjoy because it's obvious you don't enjoy this.
