Anyone try one of these out and care to share your experience? Any located in Baton Rouge area?

I read an article about this one time in PopSci. The author said it was a very odd feeling at first but he started enjoying it. Apparently you lose all concept of time.

i went once. it was pretty cool experience. it felt both like a day in there and 10 minutes. It was hard to get settled.
I have a 90 minute float I just bought through groupon in denver. COuldn't turn down $25.
I have a friend who gets one paired with a massage every month. He says it brings him to new levels of relaxation.

I had some friends go to one in Dallas recently.
One said he saw himself flying through space.
They both said that they had the best sleep ever the night afterwards as well. 20+ hours of sleep, never waking up.

One time these doctors cut off every sense of an old man and he ended up talking to God. It sucked tho because God abandoned us. Whomp whomp.

I'm 3 hours from Dallas and been trying to find time to do this for months. Heard about on a Rogan podcast.

Is it one of those "don't do it if you have demons" type deals? Did you get really introspective?

I don't see how it could make you experience anything but relaxation and/or boredom. I'll try and keep an open mind.

My wife and I did a session at the one in Metairie and it was very cool, better than expected and difficult to explain. It was even trippy at times.

deep relaxation and no senses...your mind drifts to weird places
and apparently 90 minutes feels like 5 minutes in one

And, uh, my cousin Kent...my cousin Kendall from, uh, Indiana... He got high once and you know, he started eating like really weird foods. And uh, and then he just felt like he didn't belong anywhere.

not at all.
More like a ketamine like experience than LSD or shrooms.

Your brain is no longer flooded with external stimuli so fills the void. I was open minded and had a great experience, saw various long-forgotten snapshots from my past.

Alright, my sense of intrigue has peaked again. Gotta do this!

Open-mindedness is weakness. What kind of experience should we expect if we approach this filled with suspicion and fear (like grownups)?
