Please. They have to win most of their remaining games to get in, and then yes, they will be playing for seeding. This team is not a lock though, far from it. As of right now they are likely in. That said, they still have to close strong to gain a bid.

They have been a team that has been on the bubble for most of the year. To try infer that team is practically a lock is pretty dumb...they have to win 4 more games in the regular season.

The two best players on this team are MAYBE 2nd round NBA picks and both sophomores. Everyone else is a role player or bench fodder.
The team has no real upperclassmen leadership. The only 2 upperclassmen that get significant playing time are transfers. The guard play is filled with 4 players that are either transfers, a sophomore or a freshman. All 4 should improve and be back next year.

We will come the closest of any team this year to defeating a legendary Kentucky team. Best start by a Kentucky team since 1965. I am almost 47 and Kentucky has been absolutely dominant in basketball just like Bama in football during my entire lifetime. For them to have the best start by a Kentucky team since the mid sixties means the are one of the best Kentucky teams ever in modern times. LSU almost pulled it off. Food for thought.

They are definitely in right now. But if the wheels fall off (which could happen as it has at times during this season) then they are out. They are a bit more than just a bubble team. They could screw up in some games and end up as a bubble team or out of it. If they keep improving the way they have lately, they are in.
