The days Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton die will be great days for our country.

Anyone remember Danny Almonte? The pitcher from NYC that set the LLWS on fire maybe 10 years ago or so by throwing so hard and striking everyone out? He wasn't black, but he was a violation of the rules for being too old. It's not a racist decision, it's a rules violation decision. Why is that so damn hard for people like Jackson and Sharpton to understand?
Maybe we'll get more holidays!

I feel bad for the kids because they worked their asses off, but the adults are to blame here. They new they were breaking the rules plain and simple. Jackson is a joke so I don't take anything he says seriously.

Jackson understands it. He's not an idiot. The race card pays his bills and his taxes when he chooses to pay them. It's that simple.

I remember while this was going on in the summer being so confused why every black person near a tv was so gung-ho for LL all of a sudden.
These people are so completely "color-blind" that all they see is black and white.

Why don't you just ignore stuff like this? You're choosing to be agitated by it.

you know, probably the worst way to garner support is to declare racism where none exists
it's such an easy excuse, even though it requires the most assumptions
I probably would have been sympathetic to them because in the end, that team kicked everyone's arse, and you can't unplay a game nor can you erase it
now? frick them

Using a Mexican as an example isn't a good way to prove a non racist point.
Eta: he was from the DR, but the point still stands. Also fwiw, I don't really care if race played a part in the investigation. If you cheat, you cheat.

I'm not agitated, I think it is fricking hilarious
everytime I see that same song and dance with the sad faces resulting from raaaaaaaaacism, I chuckle. The somber mood and sad faces conjur images of real, horrifying prejudice, but then you remind yourself they're blaming some innocuous unimportant, self wrought event on raaaaaaaaaacism
I don't live in the southeast or Midwest (or socal) so I am in the fortunate position of not having to give 2 shits about black people and the raaaaaaaaaaacism they face

cheating is cheating, but I suppose the discussion would be does the punishment fit the crime
but they cried raaaaaaacism, so no fricks given, glad it was taken

Weren't they turned in by another "inner city" league from Chicago that lost players to them?
Bunch of Uncle Toms in that other league.

Jackson and Sharpton have been holding black folks back for years.
Its an accountability issue. Those coaches failed those kids. I if Jackson and Sharpton will hold them accountable?
When black folk start holding eachother accountable, things will change. Stop crying race all the time.
By the way I am a really dark skin guy.

They made us proud. The world we live in don't have much to offer black kids. They can't come out to play without worrying about getting shot or pulled into a gang
Well, they definitely aren't pulled into predominately white gangs... how is that a matter of racism?

Racism will not die until the Al Sharptons and Jesse Jackson's of the world will allow it to die
