Why are so many "Experts" Leaving LeBron out of the MVP conversation?

When listening to game broadcasts or any NBA talks - LBJ is hardly even mentioned with the top MVP candidates... are people simply overlooking his amazing year because they are expecting him to keep improving?
The most popular picks for MVP thus far have been: Curry, Harden, Davis...
Where does he rank in your MVP candidates? and what does he have to do to cement himself as the #1 choice?

People get tired of voting for the same guys.

Because if anyone else averaged 27-8-8, it would be absurd. When LeBron does it, it's what he's supposed to do. It's horseshite but it is what it is

MVPs, all stars, hall of fame... All meaningless bullshite.

He missed ~10 games. As the season progresses people will warm up to him.
If he finishes the 2nd seed and 26\6\8 he has a pretty good shot. Needs to get his TOs down though.
Harden has been putting up similar #s without Howard and leading them to a better record in a better conference so far. He is more deserving at the moment

Because it only really became a discussion in the last week or so. They sucked and then he was hurt. If they played great out of the gate there wouldn't have been voter fatigue IMO, the media is ready to love lebron after the return. If the Cavs finish with the best record from here out and lebron plays like this I bet he wins it.

Because many NBA experts don't think he is the most valuable player in the game right now ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/icons/shrug.gif)

There are guys right now with beastly seasons.
LeBron would rather NBA titles than MVP titles though![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconPimp.gif)

More importantly, LOL at everyone that was counting out Cleveland.
12 straight and are clicking. They will come out of the East.

Thread is a bit long, so most opinions have been heard. But as far as the MVP goes, is Lebron overlooked? And I mean as far as what he brings to improve a basketball team?
I get the stats of other guys. A few are balling out!
Lebron is very, very slowly building a basketball team. Either their new coach is doing work, or Lebron is the...THE most important basketball player to his team of all time. Yeah that's funny but good lord, the man molds his teammates.
