We're getting 2.50 wholesale

Same here, out the field to a wholesale dealer, so anything to the public you can expect $0.25-$0.50 mark-up

I called around in Friday looking for a sack for Saturday and couldn't find anyone in Mandeville, Abita or Lacombe who would sell me one.

Ended up getting one at Slidell Seafood West for $3.69/lb

With this rain today, the crawfishing grounds are about to undoubtedly get "too wet" and thus drive prices back up.

That said, this weekend into next week looks fairly mild so hope to get the critters coming out their holes.

Everyone jokes, but even something like a fog will really drop your catch. Crazy shite.

When people bitch the crawfish tend to climb back in their holes as well. It's kind of a passive aggressive type deal.
