Ah yes, the dreaded "all purpose yards" statistic.

Fournette had a very good game, but let's just be clear: he had 11 rushes for 143 yards. No receptions. The rest of the yards you cite were from 2 kick returns, one of which was the long TD.

Again, the kick return was very nice, but it's misleading to say LF had 264 yards. It implies he "rushed" for that many yards.

No it doesn't, I would have said he rushed for those yards. It implies that he had 264 yards.

I also didn't realize that an 80 yard TD run was worth more than an 80 yard kick return. If anything, the kick return limited his carries from scrimmage

3 TDs speaks for itself either way Not sure why you're trying to downplay his performance. It was special.

Thanks for clearing up what didn't need to be cleared.

Another vote for Dominick Davis vs Illinois. This was the first thing that came to mind

Illinois had no answer for #31 that day. The Dome was rocking!

Best game you ever saw by a LSU RB

Steve Van Buren 1943 vs UGA. Scored 4 TDs in the Upset win. Dude was an absolute animal!

Jacob Hester vs. Florida. EVERYONE knew who was going to carry the rock when it counted and he strapped it up and wouldn't be denied. They couldn't stop him.
