Going to be in Lyon, France for 6 weeks this summer. Looking for restaurants in Europe that you may have tried that you would recommend as a must eat. Not limited to just France (as I will be traveling all over).
TIA

Do you go to LSU law?
Just try spots around Vieux Lyon, there are hundreds. I don't remember the names, but I would just go into a new place for lunch every day and get the basic three course lunch. Also, any of the Paul Bocuse restaurants are musts.

Drop out of law school as soon as you get back from France. You'll be only a year in debt (much better than three).
Lyon is a really great gastronomic city. There was just an article in Conde Nast (or maybe it was Travel and Leisure) about it, see if you can find it via the internet. Would definitely try and make it to a Bocuse spot, but really there is so much good food there, you'll be alright.
If you like wine, rent a car, drive down to Orange and go tour the Rhone valley.

Follow BO's advice on food, but stay in school. You'll be just fine .enjoy the summer!

In Lyon I have eaten at L'Alexandrin and Leon de Lyon, both of which were outstanding. If you can eat at Paul Bocuse, I would think of that as the temple of gastronomy in the town that really reps gastronomy in France. If I was going to go to my top aspirational restaurant, I would go to Troisgros in Roanne and/or Michel Bras in Laguiole.

If you will be around London, Le Manoir Aux Quat' Saisons in Great Milton is seriously one of the top restaurants in the world....amazing food in a stunning atmosphere...worth every penny.
We were taken around on a private tour with the Chef, they really do things right here.
