Is SEA like NYG vs NE, but better?

Obviously it would take alot for NE to not be a favorite vs any opponent. But the blueprint against them seems to be there in the 2 superbowls they lost to NYG.
To me, it would seem like seattle is alot like those NYG teams, but even better on defense. To me, NE is going to have the same problems, but probably even worse this time.
Does this comparison seem sound, or are there too many differences from the previous NE vs NYG superbowls?

Seattle doesn't have the same pass rush.

I don't see many similarities at all.

The difference between now and 2012 is Gronk and the Pats have a defense
People forget Julian Edleman was playing cornerback in the Super Bowl and Gronk was playing on one leg, our secondary was god awful and cost us the game. Not the Giants pass rush like in 07
07 was a combination of unbelievable luck, a great pass rush (that Seattle doesn't have), and an ancient breaking down NE defense
Completely different squad this year

People forget that Blount can run over teams. That DL is not the same DL of last year for Seattle

If Blount can get some yards the pats will move the ball. Keep the Seattle defense from blitzing or pick up the blitz for one on one coverage down the field. Gronk could have a big day if he can get off the line and in the middle. The safeties will have to respect the run if Blount can get any blocking. That could free up Gronk on a linebacker.

The Pats are a lot better this year than they were in 2011.
The Saints would have annihilated the Pats that year.

No.
Vernon Davis raped y'all. How do you think Aaron Hernandez and Gronkowski would've faired in that game?
It would've been an epic shootout

Saints in true road games. It's just what we do.
Neutral site Super Bowl with most people cheering for the Saints?
The Saints were the best team in football at the end of the year.

I'm gonna go ahead and let you know that's there's some hard proof to the contrary

Saints shouldn't have even beaten the Lions in the playoffs that year.

I'm pulling for NE so I can see everyone melt.

NYG had a strong interior pass rush.

Seattle losing Mebane hurt them pretty badly in my humble opinion. They coped with that loss by being hyper aggressive against the run with Kam and the linebackers, which is why their defense took a huge hit when Wagner was out. Kam or Wagner is going to have to be very worried about the play action game with Gronk, so that will mitigate some of that aggression.

In 07 front 4 of nyg did their job well. Didn't have to blitz.
Imo sea better than that team.

Does this mean the #3 receiver for Seahawks must make a catch over the defender, pinning the ball on his helmet with the game on the line?
If it takes that catch to beat New England, take the Patriots and give the 1 point.
