Has any super duper ESPN reporter bothered to ask Luck what he likes the balls at? If he says 12.5 wont that completely screw the Patriots?

What if he does say that? You just admitted that you are reading that the temperature at the game would have caused a drop.
I would want to know why did the Patriots ball drop (as one would expect with low temps) but the Colts didn't?
Did they reinflate them?

Cancel the Superbowl and let Seattle win by forfeit.

Former ref Jim Daopoulus just restated the refs locker room should be locked and nobody should be allowed to enter and touch the game balls besides the refs. Just curious to the explanation for this one guys?
quote:This was his quote from three days ago. When he heard there was video off someone entering he reiterated this is completely against protocol and not correct
“The equipment manager will bring a bag of 12 or 24 footballs — it depends on the weather. The backup balls they’ll keep in the locker room or the replay room during the game. But those footballs come directly from each equipment manager in a bag, and once they go into the officials’ locker room, nobody has access to them except for the officials. So nobody can sneak in there and let the air out or put air in or do anything. There’s usually a security guard in there, so the footballs sit in the officials’ locker room for two hours until they go out onto the field

Who takes them to the field? The refs? Or an equipment guy?
WHy didn't the officials lock the room per the protocol? Why didn't they inquire where the balls were? Or maybe they did let the equipment guy in there to take the balls to the field?
Just curious to the explanation for this one luspride87?

Who takes them to the field? The refs? Or an equipment guy?
So there’s a 10-minute window where they hand those footballs off to the ballboys, and the ballboys then walk out with the officials and bring them out on the field. LINK

WHy didn't the officials lock the room per the protocol?

The only explanation I could see that would exonerate the Patriots here is that the refs were in the room and allowed the ballboy to go use the restroom with them.

How about we wait until we see the report and the video before jumping to conclusions and witchhunts?
