Yeah, that bears defense including the secondary was a real beast this year.

One would think that LSU fans, of all people, would realize the gap between a position coach and a coordinator.

Some of you have a short memory. Kevin Steele, while a sold coach, didn't have a great go
of it as DC or head coach. He was basically demoted after 2007 at Alabama as well. And was even out of coaching as support staff in 2013.
Tuner may not work out, but he's a former NFL DC with eight years experience doing so. He's also very familiar with Nick Saban. I think we will take our chances with a position coach.
