Les picks out the plays that are going to be run every game. Cam has to call those plays - his hands are tied.

Even if this were true, which it is not, one of the main reasons Cam Cameron was hired (supposedly) was QB development.
He did well with Mettenberger. Quite obviously, this past year was a disaster.
What is concerning relative to Jennings, in particular, is that he did not seem to progress at all through the season.

I would tend to agree with your assessment of this situation...I do believe that the general public really doesn't have a clue to just how bad our QB situation was/is on this team. Brings new terms to "offensive" play...

Go read the Crowton interview when he went to Maryland. Miles controls the play calling.
