Wait till you see what those bourbon st. bars really smell like? Smoke masks smells. After a week it's gonna be horrific. It will cost the bars a shite ton in maintenance. Just like it did in Austin. Probably worse considering the age of some of those places.

You should go revisit that thread if you believe that.

Not that anyone here would ever expect anything other than tunnel-vision arguing out of you.

Yeah, because they want customers to be able to smoke. That's their right. If the people didn't like it, they wouldn't go there and spend money.

Bourbon st bars have plenty money. They should be spending it on making their shitholes nicer anyway.

The way I read this puts people out on the street smoking right next to the door.

So now I have to walk through smoke on what used to be smoke free streets?

I don't need to revisit the thread. I haven't contradicted myself at all.

I love breathing. If a place were too smokey for me I would opt for one less smokey.

I'm not worked up about this issue at all really one way or the other, but this is actually a good point that I hadn't really thought of.

Harrah's casino yes

So its banned but the article stated that casinos were exempt. That's odd

For real. I think it's their hatred of America, freedom and the Bald Eagle that's fueling it.

you don't believe in it politically, but also don't believe that it is an overreach of the government...?

Yes you absolutely have, but it's worthless to argue with you about it. Have a nice smoke-free day!

Is that what I said? No. There are lots of laws I don't agree with. At least I personally benefit from this one.

Ok your house is in a city. How would you like it if the government told you that you can't do something inside your house.
