WTF is a BMW M235i? Never heard of it before.

Hard to tell, but is it a M series too?

They apparently scrapped the short lived 1 series here to be replaced with that now stateside. Odd.

Yep. It had the 'M' badge on it. M235i. I first thought it was a 1-series because it looked so tiny. When I pulled up behind it it said M235i.

I liked the 1 series, just was a crazy price.
Are these the same size? All I see online is an M version of the 235

Correct. They replaced the 1 series with this.
It's not a true M package like the M3 M5 etc.
Car is stock fast though in a straight line. From a little googling it does 0-60 in 4.6 seconds

Cheap version of the 4-series, which is just the 3-series coupe. The M235i is a bridge between the regular 235i and the upcoming M2.

1,3,5,7= 4 door
2,4,6 = 2 door
Not an M car but its a sport package with a shitty badge the dealer put on.

If only you had done an extremely cursory Google search.

Its fast in a curve as well. And a plug and play tune makes it scary fast.

we all know its not a real m car, doesn't matter what BMW thinks.

Doesn't change the fact that you were talking out of your arse when you said that it's some dealer add-on.

BMW ran one of these bone stock in the One Lap of America last year, it did really well. It is a fun car. I know a couple people that have them. The auto trans with the flappy paddles is very good for what it is.

Jesus you're fricking defensive over a car you have no investment in. BMW slapped the damn badge on a sport kit 35i and marked the price up. That's all that matters.

They recently changed the line up. The new models are all going by what I posted. Or I got it backwards, can't remember which way but they're all even is one thing and odd is another.

Ah, that would make sense.

I like it. Just a little small for me. I'm a sedan guy now. Have owned a couple of 335i's and have one now. It's a lot of fun and with a tune is a real sleeper.
