I assume they are tearing down the Georgia Dome? Have they announced what they are putting in it's place?

Hopefully the lights stay on through the entire game.

It's going to be an awesome stadium for 5-7 years, but it won't age well, like most of the new super stadiums.

I'm looking forward to it, but I would ultimately prefer an iconic, true open-air stadium that won't look like a modern art experiment gone wrong in 15 years.

One thing that video/projection showed me was there there are barely any black people there, especially in the suites/club levels. I think I saw one black dude about halfway through.

Also an unbelievable amount of cars turn right without slowing down at the lights

Looks to me like everyone is parking in grass lots for games

That is where the current dome is. I would love for them to make that an open green area like that (with trees). It won't happen though.

I can only judge it based off Jerry's world.

Seattle isn't an old stadium and has a pretty outstanding atmosphere.

I think the fan's have a lot more to do with the atmosphere than the building itself.

New Orleans is usually a pretty tough place to play at but it has to do with the fans, not with the Superdome.

I wonder if cities like Atlanta and Dallas feel they have to do a bit more to attract all the initial events and money. It seems like they're well set up in building stadiums like this to ensure they get the Final 4, Super Bowl, etc. early, but who knows whether that draw will last.

Of course, I still like Atlanta and Dallas better than the atrocity in SF.

Green space and parking. There is also a proposal to build a new hotel and extend International Boulevard west to Northside Drive.
