I am in the Houston area and am riding the Saturday before the main Mardi Gras weekend. I plan to drive in sometime on Friday but with traffic there is not telling when I will be in the area where I can purchase my throws. It would be nice to not have to worry about it and just order them. It sucks that I am not sure of the price difference between online and the big party stores, plus shipping may be a bitch.

Do yall have a good site? Any places on the way from Texas, say maybe lake Charles or Lafayette, that have a good selection near the interstate?
If these options suck I may just mail a check to my friend and have him hook me up.

Yeah I had googled and found that place. I just wonder what shipping is like since the shite can get heavy. Might just order a few things from there and figure something else out.

I only ordered MG decor. I imagine beads would be heavy.

What Krewe are you In? Call beads by the Dozen and ask them for a float loading form. You can order and pay for it then pick it up that Friday.

I've gotten to where I'm throwing less beads.
Had a few of my fellow Thoth riders start riding without beads and they love it. They buy a shite load of small stuffed animals, small footballs, frisbees, and cups.
If you want to order some of this to go with your bean order that might be an option too.

More children friendly. Beads can hurt like a mofo.
