This thread has turned into a jay and silent bob bit. A bunch of dick jokes and old farts.

Those commentators mentioning it during the playoffs (don't remember who) said it would take a team at least three years to understand his defense and play it well.. I'm not sure that's ideal for a college team.. or a 77 year old coach.

Dick has a big head, he can adapt..

Really - the suggestion is absurd and the entire situation is becoming nothing short of comical.

IMHO, I think we are having problems finding somebody willing to take the job due to contract terms with the Miles Clause, Alleva, etc. Just the way it looks from the outside.

Just having fun with it. No one really thinks Dick is comin down to LSU. I don't think he could handle the whiskey saturation of the air in DV.

We all want Dick, but like a fat girl who leaves a bar too early, we aren't getting Dick.

Just as long Dick isn't soft in 3rd and Chavis. Fill all gaps wrap up and lead with the head.

Agree - too bad he is not 20 years younger though and just wanted a change.
The absolutely best outcome might be Jack Del Rio as head coach in waiting. For all we know, Miles is burned out, needs a step back and may want to retire in the next 2 years then assume a position like Skip did after he quit coaching.
Miles has done well during the last decade and he could certainly help us transition into a new era.
