I don't think this makes Miles look any better. If anything, it is one step closer for some to say he is thinking Brick all along.

agreed - It's getting worrisome and shameful. Maybe they'll hit a homerun. I'll be one of the first to say congrats. But it's looking more and more like a pop up double play.

The article also quotes him saying that LSU wasn't an option because of its timeline to make a hire.

Agreed but we need to make a better poker read than that. As great of a hire as it would have been, we don't need to be wasting time interviewing people that have no intention of taking the job.

He was told by Miles he was in consideration but he had wait for final decision. Shoop thought that was risky.
