Greg Schiano "to get interview and close look" for LSU's DC position?

Per 247 poster, TIFWIW. Occured last night.
Schiano's Wiki Page
He has an impressive resume, and his short run at Miami as DC was incredible. Is this realistic?
ETA: It looks like this was posted by a user. While this hurts the credibility, most of the details for Cam Cameron a couple years ago came from 247 posters, so TIFWIW.

Schiano served as defensive coordinator for the University of Miami from 1999 to 2000. In 1999, UM finished the year ranked 12th in the NCAA's Division I-A in points allowed per game (17.2), and in 2000 moved up to 5th (15.5 points allowed per game). His brief 18 month stint at Miami and his roots in New Jersey made him a candidate for his next position as head coach at Rutgers University.
While at the University of Miami, Schiano coached: NFL Pro Bowlers Dan Morgan, Jonathan Vilma, and Ed Reed.

imo that's a home run hire.
only downside he wouldn't be here long.

I'm so confused that he hasn't gotten any head coach hires. He'd probably only be there for a year, but it'd be a huge hire.

he'd bring that HC experience which is always a bonus
really want to see the next DC and cameron on the sidelines

Does he interview that poorly for HC jobs or is he just holding out? I really thought he would have a job by now.

Would be a great hire but also would make BeBe a MUST. Shiano has no southern recruiting ties or atleast I doubt he does

Is it realistic that LSU does that "coach in waiting" thing with Schiano? Seems the only reasonable way to ensure he stays here for longer than a year or two.

His defenses at Rutgers were fun to watch....this would be a home run IMO

If hired I think he takes over for Les in 3 to 4 years

I would take this. Better than the options we have left.

If we can't get CP, I will take him. Best name mentioned/rumored since CP.

Rumor is he is not the best interview...
Never met him so I have no idea though.

I don't think anyone should care at this point.
