yea i would say this is an upgrade over Jennings.

He's a guy that can legitimately make plays downfield. He would allow Cameron to implement his desired offense and, if nothing else, force Harris/Jennings to compete at the desired level vs. only against each other.

Even as a #3 option, it makes sense to bring him in.

Would the WR's have any say so in a decision like this?

how would he be eligible to play? he has already taken a redshirt year; so unless he graduated from ND and will be coming to LSU as a grad student, which seems unlikely since he was suspended from ND for cheating, where would his eligibility come from?

The article says he would be eligible to play immediately, so it has to be that he would graduate and then enroll as a grad student at LSU.

LSU is exploring the possibility but would have to obtain a waiver from the conference office since Golson was declared academically ineligible for the 2012 season. The SEC rule allows graduate student transfers without waivers if the student maintained eligibility, had no significant disciplinary issues at the old school and earned all possible APR points.

Brandon Harris' development

Why do people never put any responsibility of a player's development on the player?

If BH wants to be great, HE'S got to put in the time. Practice time isn't enough.

I don't really have a problem with him.If nothing else he will keep the heat on the other QB's.

Let's go live to Tuscaloosa via remote satellite, where Tom Rinaldi is standing by to gauge Alabama players' reaction to this possibility...

Jennings is a lost cause. Harris is either not good enough or he reminds Les of a high school bully. So why not have some options?

Golson played in the game and completed six of 11 passes for 90 yards.

He should fit right in.

But what would their reaction be when they hear Golson gets to play with LSU's talent and not Notre Dame's this time?

Sources say he has contacted LSU about transferring
The reason he did not start in the bowl game against LSU was because he tends to turn the ball over...... a lot.

He would be in Miles doghouse after his first fumble/int in practice and would never see the field.

moscona still thinks there's an SEC rule that doesn't allow for transfers for graduate school.

he keeps voicing this (wrong) opinion on air and people keep repeating it.

Don't dismiss him coming here until you ask yourself this question: Are we better off with him or without him? I say with him. Jennings doesn't have it and never will.Harris has no experience(thanks Les). I think a senior with experience would be a great asset until a permanent solution is found.
