Les wants to control of offense and defensive playcalls. Could be scary next year

So what will Miles' buyout be after next season?

I honestly think the clause was put in because he wants to retire in 3 years or less.

If Haley is the DC, the program's implosion will take place by the end of next season.

I dont feel well.
This actually makes me ill.
Im sure Haley is a good guy but what creds does he have to be an SEC DC? We would not even hire a future hall of fame alumni to coach the O line because he had no experience. I was really looking forward to seeing the Mustang package go away forever.

I'd rather Haley as DC and Orgeron as DL coach than any other options we have open right now.

Hire another DC, Haley stays and Orgeron gets picked up by another SEC team. Haley has been around Chavis long enough to improvise. If it fails miserably after a year, we might have better candidates then.

If so Les is a goner. LSU can't afford to let the program lose money.

This is (was?) an opportunity to improve the program.

Promoting Haley from within, not so much.

Promoting Haley and not getting Coach O...

... would be simply stupid and a disaster.

(I thought Miles wanted a DC that can recruit? Not one who can finish 2nd)

Posted by WestlakeTiger My sources are also saying DJ Durkin. And no, I'm not kidding.

I can believe it. Harbough wants to keep Michigan's current DC, get Stanford's DC and have Durkin. What the hell is he thinking?
