Tough day, it's sad to lose someone who was so energetic about sports. He will be missed.

Read that this morning . I didn't realize that he had been fighting cancer. Truly a great guy and such a loss at an early age. Prayers for his family and friends. Rest in Peace Stuart. God Bless.

This is so sad. People say a lot of nice things about people when they die but in Stu's case they were true. Along with Oberman and Patrick one of the best sports anchors ever. He was cooler than the other side of the pillow.

He will be in the Hall of Fame for those members of his profession.

What greater professional accomplishment can there be?

He was one of the very best.

RIP Stuart Scott.....the man redefined ESPN with a couple of other guys.

I know he didn't really have a connection to the Tigers but if you've ever been in a baseball game thread you'll get it.....I hope his left eye shines down some love and luck on the Tigers and everyone he knew and touched.
