Maybe CP is great. All i know is he sure does get fired a LOT. Maybe that's not his fault. Once again i don't know.

Do y'all even read? He was fired after having the 4th ranked defense in the NFL that went to the Super Bowl. I have no idea WTF that was about. He was fired after they fired the HC at Cal (meaning new guy wanted to bring his own guys). He was fired after he led the #1 defense in the PAC to 10 wins on sanctions because the new HC brought in his own people.

He has been a product of unfortunate circumstances. I for one, hope he has an even better impact on our team than he had on the others, and is retained after Miles retires.

With all the coaches getting the "if Miles retires" clause on their contracts, it makes me believe that he wants to hang it up within the next 3 years. Hopefully he can win at least one championship so he can ride out on top.

I just hope Aleva has minimal involvement in this DC hire, since he was too involved in a silly and unnecessary way in creating this situation in the first place.

I just want us to hire someone, all this speculation is getting annoying.

Well, this is just a tenth of what it'll be like the next time LSU hires a head coach.

Somebody needs to tell Aleva now is not the time to become a tightwad. Write the check and get these two men in here ASAP

This is a strategic hire. The wrong move , we go straight to the bottom and do not pass go.

That is the big question, if you look at what the highest paid staff in ALL of college football did last year it went 8-5 overall and 4-4 in the SEC. You kind of look and say, what am I getting for my money?

This past 3 years for the Tigers are an eye opener if you look at dollars & cents and the record that came with that money spent.

Thank you. Being unemployed is a huge red flag. Of course the rant loves him, so there is that

Unemployed people aren't getting paid.....

CP is still getting a paycheck from USC

What are the odds this trend will continue?
He's starting to sound like this guy.

New DC comes in and shuts the mutha down, he's great. He comes in and defense ranks outside the top three of the sec, he blows. We'll know in two years.
