That's funny because my buddy, who's parents own a Toyota dealership, just had to swap in his 2015 Tundra TRD Crewmax demo because the entire infotainment system went out completely. None of them are perfect, don't be naive.

I keep seeing the Ram ads. Their big v8 makes a shade more HP and torque than GM's 6.2.

Think the 5.7 is rated at 395/410. The 6.4 is only in the 2500's and is at 410/429. I'm pretty sure they detuned the 6.4 a bit to tweak the tq curve lower in the RPM range. The same motor makes 485/475 in the SRT cars. They just need to end all HP/TQ pissing contests and chunk the Hellcat in a Ram lol.

Has GM fixed their issue with AFM burning oil yet? I have an '08 with the issue and I know it was still an issue on the 2012 and 2014 models too.

Just you wait for the all-new 2016 Titan with a Cummins 5.0 V8 diesel.

No, but a Toyota isn't guaranteed to give you decades of use with just routine maintenance. If you want to get into specs and capabilities, the Tundra lags behind everything except the Titan. Tundra beats the others in resale, that's about it.

Now, don't get me wrong, I like the Tundra. My buddy's truck was badass and I would've driven it in a heartbeat. He had a 1794 edition before it that was awesome too. I just hate when people make sweeping generalizations. I've always been told my Ram is going to fall apart after 15,000 miles bc Chrysler is junk...two Rams and a combined 150,000 miles later, my biggest issue was the defroster went out on my 2011 and it was repaired under warranty. All of the brands are really good right now, but none of them are perfect either.

I love my 2010silverado but had this issue and had to get new Pistons and rings at 40k miles. The oil blow by was fouling spark plugs. I tuned out the AFM. even with these issues Id choose my silverado over a eco boost ford

You're cheating yourself if you don't go look at and test drive everything.

I like the Ram and Tundra. Ended up buying the Tundra.

I just got a 2014 FX4 F150 decked out.

The same truck in 2015 was almost $60K sticker and State Farm quoted me a substantial increase on the 2015 truck compared to the 2014.

I couldn't justify the price increase of the 2015. Too hard of a pill to swallow.

Good luck.

Also Tundra was a close second but it came down to interior and the locking rear diff that the Ford had.

Neither. Test drive a Ram and Tundra. Then pick the one you like more. I have a 2014 Ram. It rides better than any truck I've ever been in and has an interior on par with a Mercedes SUV.

How do you add an FX4 trim to a king ranch. Doesn't make sense

Not calling you guys liars. I probably am wrong. Just doesn't make sense.

The appearance of the fx models is now called the sport appearance package

I.e. Color matched bumpers, black trim and grill

The fx4 package includes the ELD, skid plates, stickers, etc

The closest thing you will get to the trim and look of the old fx2 and fx4's is a lariat sport or even xlt sport

This is similar to how they do it with the f-250's
