Hopefully not much longer. Doubt she's even a good lay in the bedroom anymore. Warranty has run out on her.

If you don't think Alleva is more incompetent than Miles then you must have just came out of a coma

Then explain to me how tOSU was able to win 11 games with their second and 3rd string quartebacks and then hang 42 on Alabama on a "Neutral" field with their 3rd string quarterback who had played what? 1game in a 59 to nothing blow out of Wisconsin where he mostly just handed the ball off. Against Bama he managed their offense with enough of a throwing threat to rack up 42 points and open up their running game. How much time does Les and Cam need to get a quarterback and offense going?

Don't know if your rationale is true or accurate, but I do appreciate not getting into a bidding war for once! Think about it, A&M will lose games with a DC that makes nearly $2M a year! There is no doubt in my mind that there are other great defensive coaches that are aggressive recruiters and will do the job for less money! ... See Oregon HC salary...

1st Cardele Jones was a red-shirt sophomore.
2nd and most important Urban Meyer's scheme fits the QBs he recruits so they can play day one if necessary.

LSU has put together a scheme that a Freshman QB can play immediately. You don't have to get rid of motion or 4 & 5-wide sets to accomplish this. It just needs to provide more comfort for the player you're using.

The reason Zaire was comfortable for ND was because he was a read-option QB and they ran a read-option offense for him.

good observation. I hadn't thought of it this way... But certainly a possibility. You see "sabanites" turning up everywhere. Miles' best brag may me Pelini at Youngstown state...

I think there's another explanation. I think Alleva is preparing for the possibility that Miles does not right the ship. If that happens he doesn't want to be stuck paying four or five million bucks to a staff that is fired.

I don't think the big contention was over the $1.7MM I think it was the three year guarantee.

At first, I blamed Joe for not ponying up the money to retain our old DC. But maybe it was the right thing to do.

Yea, because LSU doesn't have the money to pay their coaches.

I agree….LSU Athletics is in hock up to their eyeballs. The college football "arms race" requires success on the field.

If LSU puts together schemes that a freshman QB can run then how come 1 Jennings can't run it and 2 how come Harris can't run it?

Who can't run an offense that is run run pass punt?

Isn't that what Miles has been doing for a decade now? I mean, how many programs have been more successful since 05 that LSU?

You convinced me to hire an OC that’s among the highest paid. What do I have to show for it?

Aren't we one season removed from just bout the most successful O at LSU in the past 15 yrs?

I suggest we hold our water and see what 2015 holds for LSU football, but each to our own.

Miles has two years to get things going. 8-5 doesn't cut it. At the end of the 2016 season zero assistant coaches will be under contract and Miles will only have three years left on his

Alleva and the TAF are setting up a regime change if Miles can't get it together. One in which they will have plenty of money available to hire a new HC and staff

It is a serious power play and Chavis was just an unwanted casualty

Okay - I make sure our recruiting budget is at least within 10% of the top spender in our conference.

Next question?

Which means that Les has four or less years with us max. He will not be renewed.
