The problem started years ago by having to play QB's to soon and is continuing to be Miles downfall. Let Brandon develop at a normal pace. No need to throw him in there. Playing at Auburn probably hurt his development. Staff made a mistake there.
Here's the problem. Now that BH hasn't played this year, AJ's "experience" will be used as the excuse to not play him next year. And, God forbid they put BH in and he makes an error because fricking Miles will pull his arse quick as a heart attack. It's almost some sort of psychosis. Miles decides one guy is "safer" and no amount of suck can get that guy off the field. Meanwhile, the other guy, when given an opportunity, is held to some weird perfection standard.

Mes is saving FACE by not playing Harris..........

FACT...He doesn't want Harris to do well at least this year... He would have to answer questions he doesn't want to.........

Meh. I don't think that's the reason. I mean, I'm sorry. I can't stand Les but I operate upon the assumption that he WANTS to win.

I just think he has a severe deficiency in the area of risk analysis. I mean a SEVERE deficiency!!!!

And, I'm not one of those "the back is always better" guys. It is just possible that Harris blows arse. It's possible AJ really is the best we got. Honestly, if that's the case, I find that to be a WORSE indictment of Les, not an excuse.

If, in the last few years, AJ is REALLY the best QB we managed to pull in and Rettig and BH were really not up to beating out that shite fest, then Miles has been an absolute failure at QB recruiting. Not bad. Not average. Not mediocre. AN ABSOLUTE FAILURE!!!!

1) Defense couldn't get off the field
2) Blown call by the officials on the fake FG
3) Chavis prevent
4) Ball game

ShortyRob couldn't have said it better. If this is the best LSU can come up with, it's gonna get uglier.

If this is true, I would think Cam would be to blame more than Miles. Wasn't Harris Cam's guy?

Harris and Jennings are the same Quarterback. Both are too young, too slow at making decisions, and both have trouble hitting the open receiver. Give them both some more time and stop comparing them to Jordan Jefferson.

If Miles isn't responsible for defensive failures and Miles isn't responsible for offensive failure and Miles isn't responsible for fricking up QB recruiting, what the frick is he paid for?

I need a job where I get paid deep into the 7 figures but anything that is fricked up is the fault of my assistants!!!

If AJ played as well next year as JJ did as a Sophomore, that would be a near miraculous improvement.

So. You're right. Comparing him to JJ is insulting............to JJ.

College football is the same as any business. Yes, Miles is ultimately responsible for overall performance and his hires, but who gets signed to a letter of intent comes from the recommendations of the position coaches and coordinators. Should a CEO be held responsible if a VP hires a bad manager?

Yes, Miles is 100% responsible for what happens on the field. We have sucked on offense because either:

a) the qbs suck

b) the offensive philosophy/game planning sucks

Either way, it's Miles fault 100%. It's near mathematically impossible to strike out on that many qb recruits at a school that bleeds NFL talent at every other position.

And make no mistake about it, Les Miles has tried to play offense without using his qb ever since 2008.

If, over the course of 10 years, your CEO allows a VP to hire MULTIPLE bad managers in the most critical area of the company with literally ONE success that fell into his lap via non-traditional methods, then frickING YES, you blame the CEO!

Goddamn people. I want you guys as my boss!!

Well, I've pointed this out repeatedly too.

Statistically speaking, if I put all the 4 start QBs in a hat every year, the odds that you'd reach your hand in and pull 3 names over the course of 3 years and the BEST you'd pull was as bad as AJ are virtually nil.

I'm not arguing that point ... I was referring specifically to Harris and the hypothetical that he is on the same level as Jennings. The jury is still out on Cameron and whether he can identify and groom a competent QB. If Harris is a bust, that's strike 1. The 2015 class could be strike 2. He likely will not be around long enough for strike 3, as I suspect Miles will be gone if we don't see marked improvement next year from the QB position.

BTW, if I were your boss you would have been fired long ago for being an argumentative arse.
