The point is you want the leader of your football team to be above trolling fanbases on twitter. Hes acting like an 18 year old kid. Which is fine if you are a freshman living in herget and the biggest issue is whether or not to walk down to lockett. For the starting qb for an SEC football team you have to be more serious than that. This isnt the first time either.

it's the entire point. This is constant with him. He was highly sought after, and ate up the attention. I admit, I didn't see this side of him coming in. I assumed he would be a film room junkie that would eat up all football knowledge he could. Instead, he seems to be relying on his past success in high-school. He appears to have the ability....but is clearly lacking in maturity. I wish the coaches would take away his twitter, and tell him to just play football for a while...again, he needs someone strong and stern in there to light a fire under his arse.

But it's ok for the leader of your football team to be outside of a bar at 2am curb stomping a frat star, right?

Said player was suspended from the team and did not start till he earned his job back 10 games into the season.

When has harris been suspended?

You are comparing apples and oranges. Im not saying Harris is a bad person for tweeting, the tweets are symptoms of a disease.

I don't give a frog's fat arse what the frick he does on twitter. If Miles's is basing his depth chart off of tweets he fricking loonier than I fricking thought he was (and that is saying something).

you can certainly tell when an intelligent, level-headed poster comes on here. I know that other fanbases have kids that act like ours at LSU....but god we have some real idiots that think they are actually smart......

This board....wow.....probably the wrong day to be off work and isolated to the house with all these posters out celebrating the loss yesterday.

If Les and Cam couldn't motivate Brandon to comport himself maturely that, too, was a failure of coaching.

This staff gets a D at best this year.

LOL

so all the highly sought players that failed under Saban and Meyer and others would be on the coaches too right? Solid post.....excellent critical reasoning skills....you will do well on the gmat someday, you should consider that direction in life.

The Miles apologists have taken a few excuses that Miles has made for his lack of playing time and have fun with it.

Do you remember what he was posting after he signed? There were videos of him, Dupre and Quinn working out together and throwing balls to each other. The kid came in ready to work. Did it ever occur to you that his comments on social media stem from his frustration that there is a far less talented QB getting all the reps in front of him for no apparent reason? I would think that would frustrate most people. Should he take this frustration to social media? No, but I haven't seen any posts of his that are terribly egregious. This is a social media era. These kids today are not the first egocentric players to play college football, there is just now a conduit for them to share their thoughts. Manziel and Winston have said far worse than Harris has. Would you all start Jennings over them?

Said person was suspended for 4 games, not 10. He was also put back on the field as soon as he was eligible again, 2 days after rejoining the team.

Quite possibly for 5 of the last 7 games.

You are saying the only way he's going to see the field next year is if he "matures" and his need for maturation is based on tweets that you don't even know the real meaning of.

Jordan Jefferson saw the field as soon as legally possible after assaulting someone. As did Jeremy hill. Tyrann Mathieu failed MULTIPLE drug tests and only missed 1 half of football. But apparently none of those guys had maturity issues.

Brandon Harris who gives a frick he ain't what you nuts made him out to be. Jesus let the kid develop in normal time. Really should of redshirted this year and be back up next year but our coach fricked this up by missing on a lot of QB recruits for several years now Let the kid enjoy his college days.

Right. The QB product we put on the field this year clearly was adequate without needing a 5* freshman QB.

The problem started years ago by having to play QB's to soon and is continuing to be Miles downfall. Let Brandon develop at a normal pace. No need to throw him in there. Playing at Auburn probably hurt his development. Staff made a mistake there.

You fit right in with Miles. The college game is leaving you both behind in the dust. This is new age college football. Kids that are good enough only play for 3 years.

10 years ago underclassmen didn't win the heisman. We've seen two freshmen win it in the past 3 years.

I keep repeatedly saying this about BH.

If he really is as talented as advertised, then he would be INSANE to not be fricking pissed about the fact Miles keeps riding with this incompetent at QB.

If he really is so bad that he wasn't even worth another look after the AU game, then Miles is a COLOSSAL frick UP at QB evaluation.

Either of those is a terrible indictment of Miles' incompetence.
