We will get at least 1 of Charlot and Dillon maybe both. Dillon is almost guaranteed. Charlot is gonna take some work still but we are in good shape. No Fournette IMO

I'd like that OL group but its still a bit if a disappointment. Could've and should've been so much better, on paper at least. As long as 2-3 contribute then its solid.

DL group would be outstanding and a far cry better than many of us have expected most of the year. Could still end up a disaster if those kids change face before signing.

No reason why LB hasn't been more of a priority. Got to take 1 every year. We lose a ton in the next year or 2.

Nice post and looks good for the most part. I would think that if LSU doesn't get Lewis then McGinnis is a take at LB. But I'm not guru so may be wrong. BTW, where is Bouton from? Never heard of the kid.

For those that think our recruiting is bad and that Bama will beat our for the next four years you are wrong. This past year with a young team we had them beat until we kicked ob and used a soft D. they beat us in ot. With the guys we are recruiting we will be fine don't look at the stars.

I can't see us taking Fournette. I do think Reid may be the last guy in kind of situation. Mack and Weathersby are bold predictions. I'd be surprised to get both, but that would be awesome. There's no way we take 0 lbs. I think at least McGinnis gets in there.

Would be a really nice class and very strong finish in recruiting. Little concerned about NO LBs - hate to see huge holes at any position in a class.

The LB's concern me too (only recruiting, not existing).

Off course there's Leo Lewis; we're in that one but I wouldn't say leading.

I have high hopes that Porter Gustin is being worked on quietly, but nah... he's all USCw.

If there's not any hidden surprises there won't be many LBs for sure.

I really don't put a lot of stock into stars...Wasn't the HoneyBadger a 3 star? I'll take a team full of 3 stars like him, but hopefully ones that can maintain their off field life as well, though.

Was just looking at Porter Gustin. Threw for 3000 yards ran for 900 more and had 152 tackles, 29 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks and two interceptions.

lsufanva,

I think we take Fournette out of a legacy type deal. I'd prefer him as a preferred walkon myself. He's a good player, but I'm not sure he's an LSU, SEC-type player. But his brother is All-World.

Including him and with a number crunch and with the other WRs, I left Charlot and Dillon out. I'd much rather have Charlot than Fournetter or even Dillon. Dillon is good, but Charlot is a lot better. I also think Dillon stays with UF where he is currently their best recruit.

The only recruits who are currently trending in our direction are Tyron Johnson, Dylan Jackson, Derrick Dillon, and Daylon Charlot. Hopefully we get more than that, but that's where we are right now
