What? You dont know shite about me. I want lsu to win. I dont care how its done.ive repeatedly criticized miles on qb rotation and recruitment.

I do too frick boy. The last few years where we finished #2 out of 126,#12 out of 126,#14 out of 126.

Think of something else to say... GEEZ.
Why. Its proves that winning even 9 games every year is hard to do.
If 122 programs out of 126 FAIL to win at least 9 games each of the last 5 season, then how the frick is winning 10 games every year easy?

Bama was the 107th youngest team. With a first year starting Qb who was previously a running back. I'm tired of this pussy excuse
He was a running back for 1 year. ONE. He has been a qb his entire life outside of 1 year at bama. He is also a 5th year senior.

I said JJ in 2009 had a better passer rating than flynn in 2007. Thats a fact.
I asked out outright if JJ was better and you replied
"he was better just in that one year (09) than Flynn in (07). That tells me that you can't see past something as arbitrary as a college QB rating formula.

They arent dumbass. You clearly have no idea the practice restrictions put on college programs.
I know what the restrictions are. I leo know there is a difference between INNOVATIVE and COMPLEX. There are plenty of innovative offensive coaches in college football. Being innovative doesn't necessarily mean being complex. It is also vastly different than practicing toss lead for all 20 hours each week.

It is. MILES inherited a program that had won 10 games 4 times in 45 years.
Im sorry you dint like facts.
Miles inherited a program one year removed from a national championship in one of the most fertile recruiting grounds in the nation.

Lane Kiffin runs a prostyle offense too. The only thing that changed was the verbage and he implemented some offset i formation.

You realize they had a brand new offensive coordinator and a brand new system.
What exactly did Kiffen change up with that offense besides throw several bubble screens out of different formations? Besides that, Alabama ran what they have run offensively, the last few years. What Kiffen excelled at this season was moving Amari Cooper around within various formations to create favorable matchups for him to exploit.

Jennings had more experience in his system than Sims
Sims has had more time on Alabama's campus than Jennings has had at LSU. That equals, more reps at practices, more film study sessions & a better continuity with his offensive teammates. Not only that but Sims is the better athlete & has the better feel in the pocket at this point. Both of those aspects cannot be taught. You either have it or you don’t.

I know that when you feel inferior to other posters on this board you have a tendency to start to melt and say stuff like "dumbass" and "frick boy" . I know you like moral victories. I know that you ignore recent trends in favor of past accomplishments.
You are truly one of those worst posters on the site.

Recent trends? Like finishing in the top 15 each of the last 3 years? Recent like that? Or having a chance to finish in the top 20 with the 2nd youngest team in the sec?

Nothing. Im trying to find an article where kiffen even says that he is gonna keep some of the verbage and play calls the same to make it easier on Sims. The only formations he really changed was the i formation. Kiffen really likes the offset iformation instead of the traditional i formation, for some reason

I'll go find your exact post later but you said "yes, he was better in 2009" NOT "he just had a better QB rating"

Do you truly think that there hasn't been innovation of offense in college football. Ever? Do you think teams in 1991 ran the same offense that Oregon runs right now? You don't think offenses have continually been innovating? Do you know what the definition of "innovation" is?
inn-o-va-tive - introducing or using new ideas or methods
At what point did offenses STOP innovating? Tell me that.

What happened in a program 30 years ago doesn't have a damn thing to do with what he inherited. What he inherited was a team that was one year removed from the national championship, a roster loaded with NFL players, a fertile recruiting ground, and great facilities. Name 5 programs in 2004 that were in better shape than LSU in terms of resources?

No, trends like 6-2, 5-3, 4-4 in SEC the last 3 seasons. This a downward trend.
Hoping to finish in the top 20 with the "2nd youngest team in the SEC" isn't a trend. It's a moral victory/silver lining/ excuse. Here's the definition of trend:
Trend - a : to extend in a general direction
- to show a tendency

I don't try to diminish the positive. I have said all along the 2013 offense was good. Especially by LSU standards. But it still finished in the middle of the pack within its own conference. This is a fact.
And just what has LSU accomplished recently?

Texas, usc, oklahoma, florida, tenn, ohio state, michigan, nebraska, fsu were all better programs than lsu in 2005 and there are more with arguments. Those for sure were. Nick saban came into tons of nfl talent too. I think you need to go back and look at that 2001 roster and see all the nfl talent. BUT he lost 3 games so that means he was shite.
Im gone now for real. I hope you have a good xmas bruh.

if you can't see the difference between Cam Cameroons LSU's offense and Lane Kiffens Bama offense I don't know what to tell you. So called 'Pro style' is a wide category that encompasses quite a bit more than dive and dive left. It encompasses motion, misdirection, shotgun formations, underneath passes, slants, passes to the TE, and RB's out of the backfield, 3 WR sets, a balanced attack, passing on 1st and 2nd down. There are tons of things that can be done from a 'pro style' offense. Check out Kiffens offense. It actually looks like something some pro teams run. Ours looks like smash mouth 60's era Packers or Bears that no one else runs these days. IN terminology many teams in college football and some in pros are 'pro style' but the differences in the way it is applied at LSU is night and day from the way the rest of football applies it.

I figured you would back yourself into a corner and say. " see ya bruh" .
When did offenses in college stop innovating? Do you know what innovative means? I defined it earlier.
What criteria are you using to say those programs were better than LSU in 2004? More recent success, better roster, better facilities, better recruiting base? Or are you just talking out of your arse to discredit and shite on the program pre-Miles.
You honestly think Michigan was a better or first in 2004? A year after LSU won the NC? Why are you diminishing what the program accomplished?
"Bruh"..... That's about right.

about the 'record setting ' offense that you keep harping on in 2013. The one stat that you seem to believe is the end all be all stat. The one we were best at, yards per play, we finished tied with Auburn for 3rd place in the SEC west in. Behind Texas A&M and Alabama. Even in the year that all the stars aligned for LSU in a way they never have before and probably never will again, we finished 3rd/4th in just the SEC west. None of those teams had anything close to the upperclass leadership and talent like Mett, OBJ, Landry, and Hill on their teams. The offense was good, but far from great and didn't come anywhere near reaching the potential that it had. Another year slips by.

If you don’t see we implement these aspects in our offense then something is wrong.

passing on 1st and 2nd down.
When your inexperienced skilled players can't execute the plays using those aspects mentioned above then you have to do something to try to get some type of production from the offense. The offense didn't show enough consistency at QB & WR to open up the offense. So they decided to lean on what has been consistent & a the strength of the team which was the run game.
