How much more does Manning have left? Is he close to done?

To be clear, he's still a good to very good quarterback. However, is he top four anymore? It's pretty clear the Manning we used to know is gone.
Similarly to Brees, the decline is real.
His arm is just done.
I know it's raining tonight and all that, but one of the reasons they've been running the ball so much lately is because they've been trying to preserve his arm, IMO. He throws sooooo many ducks. Way more than he used to.
It's kind of weird to watch.

He will likely play out his contract, meaning 1 more year.

He played well early in the year.

He's old, but who else could have gotten Denver to where they are right now?

I thought I heard it was the complete lack of balance that was exposed in their game against STL.

That's what I'm saying.
It's very easy to see.

He had 37 tds to 11 ints coming into this game.

lol
Who are you again?
Sorry, I know there are a lot of Manning lovers on this board. But he isn't the same. The arm isn't there right now. If you can't see that, you're just in denial.

And I said he is still a good to very good quarterback.
However, he is the best quarterback ever (to me, at least). He's not near that level anymore.
His arm is getting weaker as the year goes on. Next year, will he lose strength earlier in the year?
That's all I'm saying. I don't think he'll ever be the Manning we used to know again.

He's brutally intelligent and has learned how to adapt. That being said, you can only put so much mileage into an arm and fused neck.

I know that post wasn't directed at me but I actually can't stand any of the mannings except Archie...

Overreaction. Same thing happened when Brady started this year being very mediocre. It happens, and the Bengals had a great game plan for the Broncos. Credit goes to the Bengals for this one.

You're making me feel dirty for defending him.

Link to where Brady is throwing ducks.

He could play three more years if he started Favre-ing it and sitting out until October or so.

He's for sure still a top 5 quarterback.
I don't know if he will be until he retires. Like the poster above said, you can only rely on the mental part of it so much. His arm is reallyyyy weak right now.
