Never understood this logic. What an odd way to keep track of your age.
WHMS came out in 1989 and Meg Ryan was 28. If you are "beating your meat" to a RomCom you were probably 15 yrs old. That makes you about 40 now. Meg Ryan doesnt make you old. Your age isnt measured relative to Meg Ryan. If being 40 makes you feel old you should have felt that way long before you became aware of Meg Ryan's age.

I just watched Sleepless in Seattle too and thought she looked cute but not hot which was why she was great for the role.

There's an excellent overlooked film with Meg Ryan and Keifer Sutherland from 1988 called The Promised Land. It's an independent crime thriller type. She gets naked in that and looks wonderful.
