My view of the cops is rather complicated. On one hand I am in opposition to their militarization and their increasing function as a fund raising entity via traffic tickets.
Having said that, when it is "pick a side" time, I'm going with the cops. I'll support the cops a million times before I support a bunch of thugs and a bunch of shitty millennials that think their only route to cultural relevancy is to sanction and support ridiculous, false narratives regarding race in 2014 America that have been implemented for the purposes of deconstructing the fabric of this country. They are silly pawns in a destructive plan.
This applies to 80% of the posters in this thread.

If Mayor deBlasio is really working constructively with NYPD to ensure officer safety and effectiveness, why the HATE?
Of course in reality DeBlasio is not working constructively with the NYPD. In fact he is working far more closely with organizers responsible for pushing the "hands up -- and -- i can't breathe" narrative, than he is with the NYPD. Those individuals are same organizers whipping the community into a disabling frenzy which has concomitantly led to officer endangerment, injury, and death.
