There are no witnesses who said he was ever 'with' them, period. The only witnesses said he was seen talking to them, at his house, which is indisputable. He did not leave with them.

You keep asking me to discredit his family. There have to be credible witnesses suggesting something else (that he was not actually at home, but left with the girls or was with them when they were killed) in the first place. There aren't.
Literally, the only evidence was that he a) was seen talking to them at some point that day and b) the 'confession.' If you bother to read the article I linked, they allude to a widespread belief among the community that the real perpetrator was someone related to one of the girls.
