Same here. Didn't want to be the first to admit it.

I guess it's time to put down the gun and pick up the camera

Which is exactly why we need to end their lives valiantly in the prime range of 5.5-8.5 before they become old and sad.

and put down the camera and pick the gun back up

I have seen that before on the Deer and Deer Hunting show that Charles Alzheimer had. He took the photos himself I believe.

I bet no deer in Louisiana, outside of high fences, has ever died of old age.

We have some retarded deer on our lease....some cow horn spikes with 9" on one side and a broken 3" on the other, will never never be anything more than just that.

he was a pet deer...

quote:

He was born on a wilderness estate in the heart of New York’s Adirondack Mountains. The family owned 3,000 acres and allowed no hunting on the property. The family also fed supplemental feed to deer living in the area. This buck was one of about 30 to 40 deer that stayed on the property.

Private property that's not hunted, not that difficult.

I would think that even non hunted deer would still have deer instincts "Hey thats a dude, I'm outta here." Now if he was in a pen I could see it, but it's hard to fence in that much land.
