What is the American family association? If its a private org then they have every right to pray, protest, etc. just like anyone else.

LOL at Jindal obviously pandering to the religious right to further his delusions of eventually running for national office. And partnering with the AFA to boot? Wow, that's rich. Can't wait until that loser moves on to his next pet project.

Protesting is a waste of valuable time IMO.

Don't worry. Those godless heathens are now on Jesus' shite list along with gays and liberals.

I would have expected no less from our Rhodes scholar governor who performs exorcisms in his spare time.

Well I'm outraged. Haven't decided why yet, still trying to pick a side. But outraged nonetheless.

A friend on FB posted about going. I think this is disgusting. Whether you agree or don't agree, prayer gatherings (of all faiths) should be off limits. Very poor taste for all involved.

I read last week through links posted on FB about the planned event and supposed pamphlet being forwarded.

The prayer rally was allegedly like Rick Perry's earlier one before the 2012 Presidential campaign. Jindal is said to be modeling his after this.

The whole angry response came about, as it was suggested the pamphlet would blame modern culture, gays and lesbians explicitly, for God's wrath in the form of events like hurricanes.

If Bobby Jindal is planning to launch a presidential campaign claiming Katrina was a result of gays and lesbians, he deserves nothing but ridicule.

A far larger percent of the population think Jindal is an incompetent idiot.
