In the Sunday, Houston Chronicle, I notice an article on Cedar Hill, TX, scored 64 points in the State Semifinal Playoff game. In the victory, Justin went 9/14 for 129 yards, a TD & no Int. Next up, Championship Game against Katy at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX.
Not bad for a 3 Star QB, leading his team to such a huge victory. Let's wish Justin and his team success in Arlington this weekend. Success breeds Success. Justin will bring more of his success to his new Tiger Nation this Spring.

Underrated IMO. Will be a good one.

Smart, accurate and throws a great deep ball

McMillan is a lot better than his 3* rating. He will add quality depth to our QB situation. He's not given enough credit because his high school team is extremely talented all across the board. He's a winner period. Even the most talented teams on offense will struggle if you do not get consistent play from your QB AKA (LSU 2014)

The kid has zero pressure to come in early and play. He can back up harris and Jennings, redshirt, learn the offense, run our scout team ... This kid will get more prepared to play than any qB we have had in a long time...

One of the first things I noticed when I saw Lodge's highlights

I had made a post in the other thread about this QB.
to the admin: it wasn't meant as a slight to the LSU recruit.
Cam Cameron see's something in him that he likes apparently.
LSU, Arkansas State, and UNLV were the 3 schools to offer him. Hopefully he comes in and makes the other QB's better

People keep bringing up his size...look at his freaking hands! His game is pretty fine tuned for a high school qb honestly. They are legit and he's started for 3 years. I think Cam found a gem. Also, this kid has not shopped around at all and that is probably a big reason he was a 2 star for so long. He's a solid qb prospect that could actually touch the field next year. Regardless, I agree that he will have an opportunity to be well prepared and will add to the qb depth.

Definitely could be the diamond in the rough. Highlights are impressive. Very accurate and on the run too. Shows good touch. Hard to teach that.

Mike d and some espn recruiting dude on radio said career backup at best talent wise, but at LSU under les that means starter for 3 years

"I simply asked if he would ever see the field as a QB meaning that he is pretty small (6'1...170 lbs?) and doesn't seem like the prototypical QB LSU recruits. He reminds me of russell shepard maybe? he's got to improve his throwing motion"
Russeel Shepard? Really? Guy, you haven't seen McMillan play I assume. Russell Shepard was a horrible passer...go back to the UA game skills test if you have any doubts. McMillan is a quality passer who I have seen thrown the ball 55 yards multiple times. Shepard with a gale force wind at his back couldn't throw 55 yards.
I'm still amazed that people question this guy when he wins at one of the 2 highest divisions of Texas football....trying for their 2nd straight state title and has started 3 years. I will say that in the playoffs, the 2 RBs have been killing the opposition but McMillan has done his part. And as stated before, he could have had a monster game vs Southlake Carroll in the 2nd half alone had Lodge not dropped 2 50+ yard passes thrown perfectly. Glad LSU offered McMillan. I didn't see him at the LSU camp. I have seen him multiple times playing very, very good Texas HS football teams and performing well. 'nuff said! People who haven't seen the guy...sorry, your opinions are unqualified!
