LSU fans: Do you want Miles to stay or not? What is your opinion of him?

I think he's a great coach in the hardest conference in the land. Most years will be good to great. Every now-and-then there'll be a hiccup.
I'd take that any day!
Do you all want a change or would you hate to see him go?

Thanks for what you've done here, but time for a change. You have to evolve or die off.

This isn't discussed in every other topic. Definitely deserved a new thread.

I want him to stay but part of me would like to see him go to Michigan so the idiots on this board realize what a great coach they had.

I think he is a great guy and there are few better coaches than him. We would be taking a huge risk if he would leave, but i do wish him the best wherever he is. I'll be happy in whatever decision he makes. I believe he's a very good guy and i'd like to see him do whatever makes him happy and what's best for his family

I wish he'd adopt me as his son and we'd move to Michigan together.

You want a lot. BeeFense just wants to give him a hummer.

Stay. 100%. It is a terrible year to shop the coaching market.
What about you. If LSU comes after Pinkle, do you want him to stay or go.

Aside from Auburn, Les Miles' LSU Tigers is really the only game Nick Saban truly worries about.

Only the crazies want him gone

I would like to see him go. However, I do worry about Alleva/TAF/Whoever making a competent decision on a replacement; it is a gamble. So I won't do any handwringing when he stays. We will still win and there are worse things than looking forward to 9-3 seasons and mid level bowls.

Don't much care one way or the other. If he goes, he goes. If he stays, he stays.

I'll play, kills
I want him to stay. He's had a great decade here, enough to spoil our fans rotten. What's impressive is the consistency; his down years have been 8 win seasons. People might scoff at that, but find me another contender that didn't have a worse season in the past 10 years. And that's while playing in the SEC during its' absolute peak.
He only has a few seasons left, but he's still got the program in good shape (despite all the whining). I'd love to see one more big run at dominance, then for him to retire with class. I'm curious what LSU would do for him, if it's known at some point he's entering his last season, as the winningest coach in school history (both total wins and percentage). All our previous good coaches have either been run off, or left for somewhere else. It'd be nice to have some ceremonies (and a roast!).

I want Pinkel to retire at Missouri. No doubt. I'd hate to see him go. He's perfect for Mizzou.

Stay. He'll leave as the winningest coach in the history of the school.

I would prefer that Coach Miles stay as the LSU head coach.
Having said that, I think at this time he is faced with an extremely difficult decision, much as Coach Saban was faced with when he left for the NFL.
I am in the minority, but I actually feel bad for Coach Miles, much like I felt bad for Coach Saban. Both men were very torn in having to make their decisions.
