Trust me. I'm fully aware that I have the most frustratng fandom of all-time. No need to remind me. I don't even know why I bother getting excited.

Not really.
They're all perennial "meh" teams. Accept and embrace.
Boston in the late 90s early 2000s was frustrating. The braves during the mid-late 90s was frustrating.
The mavericks are frustrating. Oregon is frustrating. Those teams have/had potential to win it all for multiple years.
A&M beat Bama in 2012.
Houston won it all what, 20 years ago?
