But isn't the company line that Les is the only constant so the offense is really his?

If we are to beat ND we have to be able to pass the ball some... Say what you want about ND'S defense but A & M was much worse and we only scored 23 and could NOT put them away.........

We should have told Speedy he would play QB and we would run the veer this year

I bet we would have had more passing yards.

You pointed to JL and Mett last year. 2 QBs with a skill set to run the system. The problem is Miles likes to take his dual threats he loves and shoe horn them into his system, and since 2009 we have seen that this does not work

A&M's offense is more potent than ND's IMO.

Whose numbers are just barely better than AJ's. Not making much of a point there.

While running a flexbone, triple-option offense, and who the vast majority of teams wanted to recruit as a DB.

Do we run a pass happy offense, or have I been watching a different team maybe?

It's not like we ask AJ do do much more than the GT QB. 4 extra attempts per game really isn't all that much.

ETA: Now the TD:INT ratio most definitely needs improvement.

everyone can talk shite about our system all they want,

we have had some shitty fricking terrible QBs.

JJ sucked
JL Sucked
Jennings Sucks

I think we are fricking up recruiting worse than anything.

You look at all the good qbs and non of them have the combined attributes of

B- running ability
D+ passing ability.

non of them.
