Well, the round robin:
1- Just produced co-champs
2- Prevent a 13th game where the sole champion adds a bigtime win to their resume
3- Put zero teams in the playoff
Bad for the beauty contest but in terms of actually determining a champion the round robin is FAR FAR FAR superior

Co-champions have been a thing since the beginning of time. If the top teams have the same conference record you have co-champions end of story. The AAC has 3 co-champions.
lol
Jeff Long said an issue for them was that the Big 12 presented them with co-champions.
The Big 12 can do whatever the frick they want. If they want head-to-head to be the tie-breaker, and to only crown "one true champion," they can do that. They can give a trophy to Baylor and not to TCU.
It is their conference. They can do what they want. What the AAC does is irrelevant.

Again it has been this way since the beginning of time. Every conference has had co-champions. Heck if Mississippi State didn't lose to Ole Miss you would of had SEC West co-champions

Again, that's irrelevant.
The Big 12 can do whatever they want. Their is no NCAA rule that states all teams with the same record are co-champs.
Can TCU claim a co-championship? Sure, they can do whatever they want. However, the committee can present Baylor as their conference champion to the committee, and TCU would have jack shite to say about that.

as a whole, Cincy and UCF would both be better additions than WVU.
kinda confused why WVU was selected above those two in the first place?

Easy the Big XII needed a team WVU needed a conference as the Big East was crumbling and Louisville and Pitt Syracuse were trying to leave and did

"We were penalized for not having a postseason championship game." - Bob Bowlsby
No shite.
No shite.

I mentioned this is some earlier threads. The Big 12 has had 3 years since the loss of the Aggies, Mizzou and Nebraska. They have had 3 years to expand back to 12 and get that Championship game going again. The ADs in the Big 12 or the Commissioner have no one to blame but themselves.

Cincy UConn USF stayed
The Catholic Schools left the Big East

For one year before the inevitable breakup came down.
The Big 12 could have easily offered them.

Cincy wanted to be aligned with Catholic schools though or go to ACC
IMO what screwed Cincy was Rutgers

this happened because nobody gives a shite about baylor or TCU. There's a ton of money/ratings involved here. This doesn't happen to OU or UT.
Agree completely.

Cincy is still in same conference though. They never left anything since leaving C-USA
And in all reality they're back in C-USA

the Big 12 needs to get back to 12 teams and have a championship game. Cincinnati, BYU, Colorado St and Memphis could be the real winners today.
With such garbage options, they should just disband and let the Power 4 bid on their 8 teams.
