The original statement you are arguing is all about the big ten.......why would you compare what he did in the sec??????
My god kid really

So he gets zero credit for two years with one and three with the other....ok guy whatevery you say. Again please stop please.
Who has a better track record of developing HS QB talent, Miles or Fisher? Be honest. Fisher gets the credit for JR and Flynn's success in college. Miles has yet to recruit a successful HS QB, you might want to wait til he does that to try and argue that he gets credit for JR and Flynn.

And it does count which in fact he hasn't won anything except easiest schedule in the country for consecutive years. Jesus man do I have to say everything twice?? You have bombed this thread with total dumb statements

You said mikes could not DEVELOP QBs. Did you not?????
Posted on 12/6/14 at 12:38 pm to goatman1419
So you are now saying that JR spending two of his three years in miles systwm and flynn being in it 4 of his 5 years doesn't count???? And again I never said miles had anything to do with their recruitment just the development.

How can OSU put 3 QBs...

Because he has proven to be able to develop QB's in both conferences. He is a better evaluator and developer of QB talent than Miles. He puts his QB's in a better position to be successful when compared to Miles in either conference. End of story Meyer>>Miles especially when it comes to QB play regardless of conference. /thread

Miles DID recruit Ryan P. Miles is the REASON Ryan signed with LSU. If Saban would have stayed at LSU, Ryan P would have kept his commitment to Texas.
The irony of all that is Colt McCoy was going to sign with LSU and Saban. Once Saban bolted, Les immediately went after Ryan P. and Colt switched to Texas.

Has anyone watched Gunner Kiel today?
Does anyone think Miles would have allowed him to develop into that type of QB?

6 teams in the top 20 for total defense.

11-18 for 250........I'd say that's close to a world beater......but you know I'd say the top 5 defenses in the SEC might just might be a little bit better than them. Just maybe
Actually, those are the ULM game stats you're citing (you were replying to something about New Mexico St.). Against NMSt., AJ was 2-5 for 11 yards with 2 INTs.

Jeez. So now, not only does Miles not develop them, he won't allow them to develop.
All I can say is this. Qb play has been bad this year. Since Miles has been so poor at developing his QB, I am just glad he has done a great job developing the running backs, defensive line, linebackers. Miles has also shown himself to be a premium DB developer as well. He's not doing bad with the receivers this year too, even though they haven't been thrown to that much.

Ppl must've not paid attention to last year or something

Oh, people did
The problem is LSU doesn't have a system under Les Miles. They have some fuzzy philosophy about ball control, grinding it out, passing when necessary and keeping the game close so they can win in the 4th.
Other teams have a system where they recruit players specifically for their offensive scheme. Miles recruits stud and tries to make this fuzzy philosophy work with QB's better suited for something else.
The only reason Mett passed for 3,000 yards last year is because he had to, the defense wasn't that great. He was a stud QB, we need more like him. There isn't a QB recruited under Miles since 2006 besides Mett who can be effective in this offense and light it up when it's necessary.
We need a system that carries over from year to year, plug and play. Miles never has had one at LSU

Because we have whiffed on QB recruiting far too often.
its NOT just recruiting jeez its about the system. Im 100% positive you could throw Harris or even Jennings in Meyer's system and they would do amazing.

Colt McCoy was never going to go to LSU. I'm not sure we even recruited him. Where did this runor start?
