Would you trade a 3rd round pick for Cordarralle Patterson?

OR evEn a late 2?

Quickly falling out of favor with Minnesota if you've been following the situation. We could use his skill set as a gamebreaker + return man.

Colston
Cordarralle
Cooks
Stills
Toon
Morgan

No.

ETA: Our receiving corps isn't the problem. And from what I've read, he isn't a good route runner and can't get open. So we'd be getting a big play receiver that can't run the entire route tree. We currently have two big play receivers with Stills and Morgan, why do we need a third? Just for KO returns?

Probably. But I really just think we have a nice future with Stills and Cooks and God damn put morgan on the field.

Depending on what the issue is in Minnesota, I'd do a 2nd, especially if we make the playoffs and our pick is later in the round.

No. In the third we could find a o-linemen or linebacker

If we make the playoffs, I'd be amenable. But if we drop 1-3 of these next 4 and miss, get a pick in the mid round area, I wouldn't be.

Disagree completely.

Patterson is a significant cut above both of the players you mentioned. If you could get him for a 3rd, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

He's 23 yo and 6'2" 220 athletic freak with blazing speed. You're banking on him, ya know, improving under our coaching staff and becoming a legit #1 receiver

His #s say otherwise although he doesn't have an aging no good Drew back there

A third? That's tough. There's real quality in the third round of the draft.

I'd give them a 5th though, but I'm just an armchair GM.

Getting a little saltay.

He is a big athletic freak that can't get open. It seems that he actually regressed coming into year two. The hope coming into year two was that he would improve his route running and actually become a legit NFL receiver. It appears he didn't do that. His coach publicly called him out on it.

Pardon me if I don't think we should use draft picks on another receiver.

Nope, he is dumb as a rock. Have you ever heard him speak? Sounds like a 3rd grader.

No. I'm sick of the Saints giving up mid round picks, we need every pick we can get for this upcoming draft. Last I looked at it, the Saints were picking 10th and if he somehow fell to us, I'd much prefer Amari Cooper right there.

LOL because football knowledge is the same as real world knowledge. I am pretty sure a ton of athletes are the sharpest tools in the shed but know way more then you about you know...football.

Damn good question...Cadet is ok but an upgrade at that position would change games

Morgan definitely deserves a shot IMO he could truly excel as a returner.

Patterson is a freak and would put up good numbers in this offense. Good returning ability and a better WR than Morgan and Toon.

not saying we should do it, but don't underrate pattersons skills
