They left some holes open, which is gonna happen when you play wide like we do. However, they were solid to outright dominant in this game. Seems like they have really grown this year.

Who else thinks this unit, if some more guys like Clark, Valentine, and Herron can grow up, will be one of if not the main strength of our team next year?

Our DL did ok, but we still let a big run right through the middle and for some reason our LBs/Safeties were no where to be found. The DL also can't rush the QB for shite. A&M's QB had double digit seconds sometimes to throw the ball.

DG is going to be Dorsey at best case scenario. Nevis will probably be closer to accurate. And I'm pretty damn stoked about it.

On the plays where Allen ran around all Manziel-like in between his OL and defenders, I saw several potential holding calls that were not flagged. Can't really blame the DL for that.

This is true. The DL gave no pressure on sack situations and if you give a good QB all day to throw, they could torch us.

I really like how one of our weaknesses early this season has significantly turned around. DT

LaCouture and Godchaux have been studs in the middle of that line.

crazy thing is that we will have both of them plus Valentine, Bain, and LMFAO for the next two years at least.

DT will be a strength next season. It will be interesting to see who grabs the two starting DE spots

I don't know if Valentine needs to grow up, or if the SEC needs to not be such fricking assholes.

The DL's only weakness is pass rush.

Hunter and Rasco do a good job of getting upfield and then containing the qb, but neither has been able to just blow by their man to get the sack. They need Godchaux and LaCouture to get some penetration to flush the qb out, then they can make the play. The DT's have been very good at stuffing the run, but get very little push on pass plays.

Will be even better next year with Valentine and Jon Taylor from juco. Don't be surprised if those two are your starters

One of Rasco's best games - his last regular season game as a tiger and he goes out with a bang.

Good for him.

Didn't DG have an ACL tear in his senior season? If so, his impressive Freshman year is even more so-it's usually the second year after that surgery before a player is truly 100%. We just need some DE's to step up-middle looks good!
