It's pretty light on the melody and harmony though. I agree it's music but I struggle with why one would marginalize 40% of what constitutes music in favor of the rest. I prefer music that has all elements in roughly equal parts.

Also, I don't really "get" rap, probably because I'm not exactly the target demographic that rap artists are aiming for. I think if I understood the artistic thought that goes into it, it would be a lot more meaningful to me.
