My wife and I have taken up the hobby of watching bad Christmas movies

And I love it.
So far this week we have watched Jack Frost and Desperately Seeking Santa (ABC Family originals are great for our criteria). We rate them 5 stars on Netflix on purpose so that Netflix will suggest more piles of goat shite. FTR I don't hate the movie Jack Frost, saw it as a kid with my dad and I don't mind it, but on paper it's pretty bad.
What are some good shitty Christmas movies we should try out? Netflix has some that are virtually unwatchable (i.e. Small Town Santa, low budget and bad but not enjoyable like the ones above), but we want some that are more well known.

What's the name of the film where Goldberg plays a vindictive Santa?

They had a really bad one last year that was set in Acadiana and had a creepy, toy-maker, pedophile as Santa Clause. I think he literally abducted the little kid for like an entire day at a time and no one said anything. The single mother was originally from Acadiana but had been living a stress-filled, high-power career, life in New York city, but came down to visit her mama for the holidays.
There were gators, small town cops, a fais do do, and lots of other generically bad Louisiana cliches. I can't recommend it enough for that genre.

Anything on the Hallmark Channel.

Would be scarier with whoopi Goldberg

The Night They Saved Christmas
quote:
The film is about an oil company dynamiting in the North Pole in search of an oil field, unaware that they are endangering Santa Claus.

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians is a classic bad Christmas movie

My wife and I do the same thing, but it's because she has horrible taste in movies.
Lifetime and Hallmark always churn out a ton of awful Christmas movies with terrible plots and atrocious acting.
There's one called Farewell, Mr. Kringle we watched last year and DVR'd again for this year. It has Christine Taylor (Dodgeball, etc) and is godawful.
