Renaissance in Ridgeland to shop. If you like Greek food I suggest Kiefer's for lunch and Amerigo's (Itailan) for dinner

Haha there was a thread on this VERY thing last week. A guy was in Clinton for football playoffs.
I think we all sent him to Colony Park just north of town in Ridgland.
Colony Park

frickIN YES. Keifers is LEGIT even if you aren't a big fan of actual greek food, get a few of the apps. The Pita Mozz apps with meat will hit the spot. They also have Abita Amber beer on tap if I recall.
My go to is the Ham and Turkey ones. I'll eat two frickin orders.
Apps at Keifers

Keifers.
Courtyard at Hal and Mal's.
Two Sisters is awesome.

You need to post this on the Food Board. Jackson has been a popular topic lately, and they have some good recs.
From what I hear:
Parlor Market
Pig and Pint
Saltine
All really good.

Anjou is really good too. I'd take Anjou over Amerigos.

This. Also, Brent's for brunch/lunch is a great spot.
The Fondren area is pretty cool altogether. Fondren Public is the most notable bar.
There are a couple good bars near downtown, which is otherwise a ghost town. Hal and Mal's always has some music and is a good spot, and the Library is an old mansion turned into an old school bar.

Babalu as well. Today is 50% off their drinks. Their tequila drinks are killer. I recommend the steak. Also if you get chips, get the guacomole made at the table.... with jalapenos.

Hang out in the Fondren area (north of Belhaven and Millsaps). Get some coffee at Cups. Drink good beer at Fondren Public. Eat at Keifer's or get a burger at Brent's Drug Store. Check out Lemuria's Book Store if you want a good book.
ETA: They've got a Bulldog in Jackson as well.
