Wii U has had a year head start and every major series in the Nintendo arsenal except for Zelda. It's already in last place. Nintendo just needs to hope to pass the Gamecube in sales.

Or stop designing and producing upscale leap pads and start developing and producing legitimate gaming systems. The game cube was their last real gaming console. The rest have been nothing more than digital baby sitters for kids to play Pokemon or one of the other endless games designed and created for 5 year olds.

It's pretty premature to act like you know what the future holds.

If someone had told me 10 years ago that Sony would be on the verge of bankruptcy and have losses in the billions 6 years straight I would have called you crazy.

shite happens and things change though.

If you two can predict things so well I am sure there are tons of Wall Street firms that would throw money at y'all.

WiiU is a pretty legit system. Just lacks games.

Not really. People have misconceptions on all of the systems, but especially the wii u.

I do think the Xbox will be proven right in the end however

It's a shame but I don't think people younger than us appreciate or care about Nintendo games.

the problem is we came up with games like mario, duck hunt, punch out etc etc and saw the giant leaps in technology. they can't compare the changes like we can

Amen. Sometimes it takes one game to really propel a system like Halo did for Xbox. I think Last of Us really helped PS4 out. I still think Xbone has the better long term outlook with the system being a hub as opposed to just a gaming console.

IMO regardless of the console wars, you're probably making the best gaming choice money wise having a *Wii U* and a PC instead of the others. Nintendo doesn't leak any of its IPs to any system or whatever outlet for gaming there is. However, Xbox and PS4 usually survive off multiplats among other things that can be found on PC as well. Not saying that XB and PS don't have good IPs because they do, but exclusivity is not a strong suit of either company.

HOWEVER, regardless of sales or "console wars," Nintendo is tearing up the console world right now. They've released hit after hit after hit from their top IPs at the end of this year, and they still got lots to go. The sales may not be on the COD/AC type scale, but the quality is most definitely there.

I still play my One more than my PS4. Both are great machines but the PS4 is the better "gaming" machine. I still buy games like CoD or Destiny for Xbox though because it's what all my friends are on and I really enjoy not having to change channels to play a video game.

Xbox One is a much more convenient console IMO.

Sony counts actual units sold to the customer not units ship to the store.

I'm going to guess he meant that they are making great games.
