Ready has turned into a necessity. It's time, been time. If you want to win next year, better realize, there is NO other options..

Handing the ball off 50 times, reading one or two routes, looking at the sideline for the reads and checks? I find it hard to believe that Harris can't do the same things Jennings is being asked to do.

I find it hard to believe that you find this hard to believe. Harris screws up on a lot of running plays. And these are the obvious screwups. You just don't realize how complicated the QB's job is on running plays. It's not just handing the ball off.

Good point- but way to deep a concept for the rant!!! You gotta keep it really really simple..... No strategery or anything like that!!!

The main topic I get from this is the under center issue. Neither QB is served well in this package.

JFF, Jameis, and McCarron didn't get ANY snaps the year prior. 2 of these guys won the Heisman their first year starting, and the other won multiple national championships. If the guy can play, he can play. He doesn't need 5-10 plays a game to be better prepared for the next season...

There is a HUGE difference here. This is a stupid comment as both QBs had really solid QBs in front of them and both had experience.

Trying to compare that with our current situation at LSU is absurd!

He's apparently not good enough to beat out the worst starting QB in major college football.

I don't care what anyone says, that's worrisome. I know Miles can be stubborn, but as bad as AJ is, that benching him isn't an OBVIOUS need has to worry you.

For all of our griping about JJ/JL, at least there wasn't a GIANT difference between the two.

If there isn't a GIANT difference between these two, we're fricked for a couple of years because if AJ were on the team back then, JJ/JL would've been WAAAAAAY ahead of him.

There is more to playing QB than passing and handing off the ball.

You're missing the point. You're looking at it as BH is better than AJ and those guys weren't better than the ones in front if them, so sitting was fine. What those of us who have pointed this out are saying, is that the argument that BH needs snaps to be better this year is proven to be simply opinion, seeing as the last two Heisman winners had zero snaps the year before winning the trophy. Game reps are not required to get better...you get better in practice. You play how you practice, not practice how you play.

Maybe Harris isn't totally ready and maybe he cant execute Cam's whole offense flawlessly. Does Anthony Jennings look ready to yall?

Don't be so sure. It's for damn certain he's not going to stand on the sidelines for the next two years waiting for his "turn".

I think if you put harris in, it shouldn't be with the mentality of "Well this year is screwed, let's get him some experience." This would be a huge middle finger to our seniors who've given so much to this team
