Dude don't you do p90x? You know to save the static stuff for post workout.

Anytime your workout will include explosive movements you shouldn't perform static stretches beforehand. It causes your muscles to lose elasticity (temporarily) and therefore reduce strength and explosiveness and increase risk of injury due to decreased muscle support at the joints.
