that fact that you have Rich Rod on this list lets me know you are a moron.

Oh also Lane Kiffin.

You think Florida State isn't a destination job?

If Florida hires one of the guys on your list I'd take this seriously.

Joe Moglia

In just 3 years as a head coach, he has won 3 conf titles, and is currently undefeated and ranked #1 in the FCS.

And He did it after taking took over a .500 team

Kirby Smart. Already coached at LSU. Waiting for that perfect opening. He has no desire to go to Colorado or Penn St. He's waiting for a real job. As is Al Gruden and Mike Gundy. Those would be my top three choices.

LSU is at the point where the school shouldn't have to take the risk of hiring an unproven "Coordinator." KS could very well turn out to be another Will Muschamp bomb.

BTW, WM was a Saban disciple too.

Sorry, I'll pass on any and all unproven NFL/College Coordinators that have never been Head Coaches.

From a post this past Sept from a talk Justin Vincent gave to the Gulf Coast Athletic Club and it caught my attention.

quote:

Said that Coach Chavis is really serious and rarely if ever smiles or even talks. Said the other day Miles, during a coaches' meeting, was cracking jokes and laughing and Chavis looked at Vincent and said, "Why am I here?"

I think Chavis has earned a shot.

I think we should try and go to the Michigan St well 1 more time. Mark Dantonio would be a great hire if we could get him away from East Lansing!

a proven HC with an offensive mind. preferably, one with recruiting ties to that big arse, populous state to our west that shits quarterbacks.
gary effing patterson or art briles.
also consider whittingham.

if the criteria is an offensive minded coach who can develop QB's, has proven himself at a lower state school, and has ties to texas for recruiting, patterson or briles is not the candidate.....go get that pirate from Washington State - mike Leach
